NYX Jumbo Pencils Swatches and Review!
Recently I went to Ulta and bought 5 NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils! I have heard a lot about them and I was excited to try them out:) I have been watching lots of videos about them on YouTube and I decided to buy some. I bought Yogurt, Milk, Iced Mocha, Pure Gold and Purple Velvet!
These were about $4.49 each, which is more expensive then the NYX website- plus I had to pay tax.
The first thing i noticed was that they are very creamy. My other colors were more creamy then the Milk pencil, but it might just be the one that I bought. They seem to tug on your lid a little bit when you use them, but I also have large eyelids so it might be that I have extra skin on them and the pencil gets caught. So far, I love my Jumbo Pencils! I use them as bases for my powder eyeshadows. They do tend to crease, but I don't mind the way they look. My favorite has to be either the Yogurt or Iced Mocha-they both have a sheen to them. Pure Gold also has a sheen, but Purple Velvet and Milk are matte. These are a pretty good value-but I am confused on how I am going to sharpen them since the tip is plastic! I definitely want to buy all the colors-these pencils are great by themselves or with a shadow!

Moisturizer and Primer Review
I recently got two new moisturizers and the e.l.f eyelid primer! I bought them at Target.
The first moisturizer i bought was the Garnier Nutritioniste Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Creme. I believe it was around 7 dollars. It comes in a glass tub, and contains 1.7 oz or 50 g of product. It's a green gel! I didn't think this product would be moisturizing at first because it is a gel. But, it pleasantly surprised me! It is very very moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling hecka soft and refreshed. It feels like nothing is on when you are wearing this moisturizer! I was so very surprised about the way it trapped in moisture and they way it felt on my skin. When I put it on, I couldn't stop feeling my face! It was very very very soft. It dries not quite matte but not ultra shiny either. I would say this is a great moisturizer for all skin types! Only use a little dab for your whole face-a little bit goes a long way! Overall I give this product and A+.
The second moisturizer i bought was the Up and Up brand (from target) facial lotion healthy skin. It says on the bottle that it compares to Neutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion. It has 2.5 fluid oz in the bottle or 73.9 mL. It is supposed to "soften and smoothe rough, uneven skin, and reduce the appearance of fine lines." The first thing i noticed was the smell. It smells like a weird sour sunscreen. If the smell doesn't bother you, then this is a pretty good moisturizer. I use it in the morning before i put my makeup on. It goes on well, you don't need a lot. It is very shiny once it dries, so you probably couldn't use it alone without some sort of mattifying powder. It cost about 6 dollars. I really don't have a lot to say about it. I'm pretty neutral about it, i think it would be a hit and miss with different people. I rate it a C+.
The last product I got was the e.l.f Eyelid Primer. It was $1 at Target-an amazing price. I only have had a small experience with e.l.f. but so far it has been alright. The primer is "sheer", with a doe foot applicator. It is sort of greasy when you put it on, but it does blend to be pretty sheer. So far, it has held my shadows on throughout the day, which is great. But, it does not make my shadows more vibrant or anything. So if you want your shadows to be bolder, it really doesn't do that. But for keeping shadows on, it does a great job for one dollar! I rate this a B. . Hope these help!

Makeup on 10/15/11
This was my makeup for today- it was a neutral, blue and bronzey look with normal face makeup and pinky neutral lips. It's hard to see in this picture, but my eyes WERE sparkly and blue/bronze.
I used CoverGirl Fresh Complexion Concealer in Ivory, Maybelline Mineral Power mineral foundation in 02 classic ivory, sephora matte primer, loreal true match blush in tender rose on my face. For eyes i used my Coastal Scents 88 Shimmer Palette-a cobalt blue color, and M.A.C's satin eyeshadow in Woodwinked in my crease. Maybelline EyeStudio Gel Liner in Blackest Black and Maybelline Colossal Mascara. My lips were M.A.C's Faux and a clear lipsmacker gloss.
I think its a pretty look for everyday and I hope you like it! I got a new lipstick today and I will be posting a review on it very soon!

PSAT
Well, it's PSAT time. I'm wearing a sweatshirt and stretchy pants... And almost no makeup. Only concealer, powder, mascara, and lipgloss. Meh. I hope I do alright, it's just a practice after all. And my mom owes me 5$ and some frozen yogurt!! :) or maybe she can just owe me a lipstick. Anyway, I'm not stressing out too bad except for the math part! Well, wish me luck! I'll post my eye look for the day after I take a nap:3
